Looks like a sweet build. I have been trying to convince my friend to do this to his 240 for years. He is now on his 3rd SR20 and hopefully is finally going to see the light.

Amazing build!! Looks like you are having fun along the way too, great!

Do you have the Quick Time part number for the bellhousing? Also, do you feel like you could have put the motor further back with the same tunnel mods if you had a slimmer bellhousing?

i can get you the part number if you want it !!! the box is probably still at the garage .

with engine plate or custom mounts probably abit further ... but not with my engine mount kit (SIKKY) ... to put it further i think i would of had to cute abit higher and to make the top of it in an angle

Matt Powers FD car as a different bellhousing and is an inch further back then me !!!

that bellhousing as the one with the reverse mounted starter

I'd definitely be interested in getting the part number. From what I gather Quick Time has two different bell housings - one regular, and one for "low clearance" which has a flat bottom and might require the 153-teeth flywheel. Is that correct? Sorry for thread hijack!

The bellshousing that he is using is made by Quarter Master, not QuickTime. It is made to have the starter mount on the bellhousing and the clutch can be either a 5.5" or 7.25" multi-disk setup. The clutch has the ring gear bolted on top which the starter engages from the rear.

btw make sure vbands r not too low. I been banging the vbands off my car at the track and loading it on the trailer. much easier just using a bolt flange.
