Last winter I started losing sleep over the idea of this project. So I had some time to get the plan pretty well thought out.
It's going to be street legal, but evolve into a competition vehicle for the Lucas Oil off-road racing series.
Since its one of a kind almost everything will be custom. Thats the point. It will basically serve as a rolling portfolio daily. This build is also the starting point for a little more lofty goal.

After I removed the camino front frame section I chopped off the longtravel front end I designed and built for my T-100. The frames lined up surprisingly well so I decided to go for it. This one decision probably cut my build time in half, The T-100 front end has over 600 hours in r&d in it. Now all I have to do is build stuff, thats the fun part.

made some careful cuts, tacked the front clip and bam. Longtravel camino. put the motor/trans in place and started getting a plan together for the final chassis layout.

using mostly toyota parts since everything is already setup for it on the front clip.
T100 steering column, complete brake system, rear axle so lug pattern is the same and I already have it pretty nicely set up. got some zero offset front wheels to get final trackwidth/fender clearances figured out

This is a prototype, the final plenum will end up being fiberglass or carbon fiber.
warming up for my biggest undertaking of the build, complete one-off fiberglass bodywork
