You can use the truck pump and damper too. You just have to space the alternator bracket out 3/4 inch with spacers behind the bracket with longer bolts.

Only thing you have to keep in mind is truck water pump neck will not clear if using car intake. You will have to mod the pump to make it work unless it is the newer truck pump. You can also run a Fbody pump with spacers or swap a truck pulley on to the Fbody pump. Or run a 2010 Camaro pump that has truck spacing. So there are many options. You just have to pick one and go with it.

You can use the stock 98-02 Camaro water pump with water pump spacers from Dirty Dingo. They also make a Low Mount Alternator bracket in truck spacing with the rear brace. It is VERY important on an iron block to still use a rear brace.
