oil pressure sensor adapter

oil pressure sensor adapter
I am using the stock 91 Firebird oil pressure sensor which is 1/4 npt. I am using two adapters, the first is m16-1.5 to 1/2 npt, then 1/2 npt to 1/4 npt. I could not find a m16-1.5 to 1/4 npt adapter. I did find a 1/8 npt adapter and tried to tap it but the metal was too thin.
Everything fits fine but I am concerned about the m16 adapter. Here is a picture:
The thread length is only 2 or 3 threads, maybe 1/4 inch. It came with an o-ring, but I removed it and used copper rtv. I tightened it down well but am wondering if the oil pressure will back it out without more threads.
Any input would be appreciated.

Go to any Parker store and they should have that in stock (bushing reducer from 16x1.5 male to 1/4 NPT female)
I was looking for one that was 16x1.5 to 1/8 NPT, and all they had was the 1/4 NPT.
