Since it is DBW it can be flipped and it will still bolt up properly and the wires will still reach, I had a friend do the exact same thing as he was having the same issue as you. Now if it was DBC then you are out of luck, but he's has no problems with his set up with the DBW throttle body flipped.

Wouldn't the throttle body be in the way of the alternator bracket?

I went the spacers. I wish now that I wouldn't have. If I were you I'd do the ls1 kwik brackets, ls1 pump, and ls1 balancer.
Why don't you like the spacers?

I guess that will depend where you mount your alternator for your accessory drive set up. His alternator is mounted down low on the driver side, so he didnt have any other clearance issues.

I have the LQ4 balancer with all the LQ4 front accessories. Then the ls3 heads, intake, and throttle body. So I just bought water pump spacers for an F body pump.

u can use wp spacers or pull the pulley off the car wp.
to use the car intakes and wp and truck pulley.
if use spacers behind the wp.
this will affect the stock wp/tensioner offset. and cause other tensioner alignment issues. pulling the pulley off the car wp shaft is harder to do at home, but doesnt disturb the alignment.

ive sold most all these swap problems with my line of alternators/ps relocation and mounts brackets.
and use ls or sbc alternators. however all my parts use mechanical tensioning systems. i dont use spring loaded tensioners. the offset for the oe wp tensioners does not matter with my parts. they have been eliminated.
this allows me to have various configurations.
in the process of becoming sponsor on tech.

I used an 04 GTO water pump ($135 at Advance Auto) and the Fbody crank pulley (GM its $65) I also used the 08 Corvette Alternator bracket, idler pulley and tensioner (GM its $200). I did however have to space out the alt. bracket and tensioner. For complete details go to my build and search around. I gave part numbers etc. for the swap.

Here is a picture of my L99 waterpump on an LY6 with LS3 intake. It's has the appropriate pulley spacing for your LQ4 crank pulley, clears the LS3 intake and also moves the waterpump outlet to the drivers side, forward facing.

What ps pump, alt, and/or ac compressor and bracketry do you plan to use?

bingo. I put mine on a few months ago along with the LS3 power steering pump and no belt alignment problems whatsoever. Also the LS3 Camaro waterpump is the same as the L99.

This was the cheapest fix for me and allowed me to use most of the stock truck stuff,I will be using the kwik truck/2010 camaro kit for the a/c, kwik assured me that that kit will work with truck accessories and f body water pump since it has parts for both trucks and late camaros in the one kit.

I got the pump all figured out but I can't find an upper radiator hose that fits the truck radiator and extends to the camaro water pump..... Can anyone help?
