I made my own bracket. I just used some angle iron and used the front 2 holes on the manifold to bolt it down.

Sounds like cutting of the driveshaft is required

Believe it or not I found that there can be some differences in the driveshafts , got a shaft from a friend that came out of a 98-02 and ends up being just right

I plan on using these mounts if I can't find a stock LS1 k-member local. Cheaper than going with a tubular K-member.

Anyone know if these will fit tubular LTx k-member?

As long as the tubular one uses factory clam shell style, I would imagine so.

Those mounts are supposed to be bolted to the OEM LT1 K Member.
I dont see how you could bolt them on a tubular K member.

If they use a mount that has the factory style clam shell then it would be the same as bolting them on a factory LT1 K-member.

Yep all tubular k-members do not come with built in mounts.

Some come with built in pedestals like the MWC ones.

Apparently I miss understood what you were saying. I thought at one time I remembered seeing that tubular k-members were being made where you had to reuse the factory pedestals. I am very familiar with built in pedestals as I used the UMI roadrace ls1 k-member for my swap.

I believe you're right, I think for awhile only places like Racecraft, MWC, Spohn and Burkhart Chassis were offering ones with the built in mounts (LS1 only), the rest used factory bolt on style ones. However I don't recall seeing a built in LT1 mount, but in all fairness it's been at least 5 years since I've looked, lol.

For anyone curious I bought these mounts and they worked great. I have them mounted on a PA Racing tubular kmember. The motor is right where it should be (not pushed back like some other mounts).

Were you able to retain the Lt1 steering rack?

No I wasn't. But I am running forward truck manifolds. I guess I should have said that. I think longtubes might fit though.

This is great information. I wish they would have been out by the time I did my conversion. After runnig tubular K members on both my Lt1 and LS1 F bodies I very much appreciate the OEM K member for its structural integrity and rigidity. Alignment is much easier and precise too. I would have chosen this route for sure.

I actually have them on a PA racing tubular kmember....but they would work just fine with a stock one as well.
