Cutting your door panels in half - makes me think of this:

Looking good - keep posting updates.

Trying to finish up a few things before the wiring session and final startup..

The STACK gauge cluster is almost done.. just a little more fill and then its on to wrapping it black suede.. Should look pretty good once done.

Also picked up my new Kill switches, love these things. The red one is going to be mounted in side the car so if I do decide to street shark this thing I can look it in the off position. The black one will be mounted in the bay.

So once I complete this To Do list it will be time.. Should not be to long from now.

Also thinking about live streaming the startup .. Who is down for that?!?!

So last night after the family went to bed I got some time to wrap my STACK gauge cluster.

I feel it came out okay, not really happy with the wrap job I did. So most likely going to get it rewrapped by some one that knows how.. LOL

Also this is probably going to be temporary. I do plan on gutting out the OEM cluster and mounting the STACK in there. I think that would be pretty sweet. Might have Toby look at it and see what he can do..

Those wheels are sick. Cant wait for a start up should sound insane with that exhaust set up. What hood pins are those btw, they look super clean how they sit flush.

Looks like he had to cut the door panels to clear the cage.

Man, I have not checked up on your build in a long time.

OUTSTANDING craftsmanship bud! Your attention to the details is top grade.

It is an exciting feeling getting close to completion, I only wish you the best and ZERO troubles on start up

Thanks man for the kind words.. And yup you are right had to cut the panels due to the door bars.. I will swap those out later for some flat CF panels...

As for the hood pins they are Quik-Latch mini hood pins.. Check them out,, I will be using them for my front bumper, rear bumper and hatch..

Man thanks a lot of the kind words,, that is what keeps me going..

And that is one of my biggest fears "problems when doing startup" Crossing fingers everything goes okay and just minor things happen if anything

Awesome project! Can't wait to see the results!

If I wasn't going to swap my E46 M3 already, I would've gone with either a 350Z or a G35 coupe.

love this build and all Nissan's with LSx power, crazy tire stretch. I know you said its for a photo thing and not the drift set but, we don't need to stretch tires anymore we have LS V8 power!!!

quick question.. sorry if been said.. why the stack cluster/gauge? is there no way for the 350/g35 guys to use stock cluster with LSx swap? I know for 240sx we get the Dakota converter box. just curious. stack set up is sick either way.

Glad you love the build.. My drift set will still have a stretched tire just not as much as the 19s had... Specs on the drift wheels are:

18x9.5 -22 235/40
18x12 -10 265/35 or 275/35

As far as the cluster goes.. I chose to go with the STACK just for my own preference and due to me ripping out all the OEM wiring harness. You can use the 350z/G35 OEM cluster but the only thing that does not work is your RPM gauge. which you can replace with a Speedhut Gauge.. Looks like this:

But I plan to gut out the OEM cluster and place my STACK in there some how.. We will see.
