Project "White Lightning"

That pretty much was sarcasm to the post about $1500 LS Engine Swap..just to show how mis-informing that is.
I have a documented list of EVERYTHING that has went into this truck, including the gas that I spent driving to get some of the parts. I'm still gathering some things and I have to order Door Seals..that looks to be the last thing I need. Once I'm done I'll post that list.
Keep in mind too that some things werent skimped on.. POSI, 2" Drop, Drag Suspension.. LS1 with a Cam compared to a junkyard 5.3l..
You'll see it in the list. Feel free to take any guesses from what you've seen so far..
It's not too terrible loud, but after driving it for a little bit it's got a drone..
I'll start with checking the Fuel Pressure to see if the pump is going to **** or not supplying adequate pressure..Injectors are stock LS1 F-body 26lb.
plus around 500 in other various parts for the swap and a whole lot more to go... about $5k to do the swap The Best V8 Stories One Small Block at Time
No one around here has a Fuel Pressure Gauge so I'm not investing $60 into one for just this one time use.
I'm leaning toward the Injectors being too small and the Pump not putting out pressure uptop. It's a stock used F-body LS1 Pump.
Anyone have any insight on this?
That and the 2-3 Shift makes the Command AFR go from 12.8 to 11.8..and it stays 11.8 all the way through 3rd. I'm thinking that is just the VE Table probably.

A Walbro 255 is on the way..

It is time consuming, the best way to learn is to follow the wires in the harness and you will see what they do. My 84 MCSS and 91 S10 had very little wiring in them, it was easy when it was broken down to the essentials..
As Merv said, not hard , just a LOT of TIME consumption

The trick I've learned is one at a time, and study the harness you are working on. Like anything, once you break it down into simpler steps it gets easier.
