They said $899. I'm going to get a quote from a local shop that I've used for Custom shafts for years before I pull the trigger on that. I can mill an adaptor plate myself if need be.

Got some more done last week but just now got a chance to post pics.

Cut the windage tray to fit the F-body pan and got the oil pickup tube installed.

Here are some close ups on how I modified the 2010 Camaro TR6060 mount to work with the S&P T56 crossmember. I measured it when I did this, but now that I'm on the other side of the country I can't remember what it was. It's probably best you measure for your application anyways.

A shot of the McCleod/Driveline Specalties shifter installed on the tranny. BTW, a big shout out to Red Roberts for working with me on this. It's a great part and he really helped me out, since we had to swap a couple parts on the shifter to get everything in the right place. The part number I have in my previous post is the right final part number for doing this on a 68-69 Camaro.

Rather than weld my factory pedal, my dad designed and fabbed a mount that we could just bolt onto the pedal. I think it turned out really nice. The angle of the pictures makes it look like the clutch rod is going in at a sharp angle but it's not. After the first 1/8" of travel it goes in nice and straight. I ended up using a factory 3/8" clevis pin and retainer from a brake booster to attach it to the cylinder rod. Big thanks to my dad on this one, he helps me out from time to time

Mounted clutch cylinder. I'm going to have to find a way to plumb an f-body cylinder line to it since the one from the 2010 Camaro is a little different. I think I'm going to adapt the factory connector on the transmission side with a flare fitting to a braided stainless hose.

Also, while not directly related to the engine, I'm rewiring the car with entirely new M&H wiring harnesses. The new harnesses are expensive, but are done with factory correct color wires so the factory wiring diagrams still hold true. I seriously wanted to go back in time and kick my 17 year old butt for using so many butt splices and nasty lazy wiring techniques.

New harness. I decided to go with a fuse panel that had an updated blade fuse setup

What paint code / paint vendor did you go with? I really like the colour of your car!

My 68 Nova is going out for body work next month and want to know what paint to order.

I found this http://paintref.com/cgi-bin/colorcod...=Alpine%20Blue

So
GM Code WA3700
Ditzler PPG 13512
Dupont 4892L, 4892D
etc...

I really like this color! you used on you 68 and the funny thing it is also called Alpine Blue, the color my dads 68 Beaumont was.

Thank,
Bruce

The Paint brand IIRC was R-M base coat/clear coat that they did some computer matching on to duplicate Grotto blue. I think it came out slightly lighter, but I love it. This was actually the original factory color (including the stripe) for my car.

I can see why you would want to replace that old wiring. It was definatly a rats nest. The guy that invented a butt splice should be shot. They are the best things ever made if you enjoy searching for bad connections.

That shifter info is just what I need! I figured there was an easy solution on the driveshaft. If the price is right on the local TR6060 I may just pull the trigger.

Spoke with Red at McLeod and will be going TR6060 as well in my Chevelle. Picking up a 11k mile unit with pedals/hydraulics for $1700.

And I love how your project is coming along...beautiful color!

I think they are like $270 for the shifter. Many options available so you need to mock up tranny and get the measurements for where you want it. Then call McLeod and ask for Red Roberts!

Default clutch master cyl ??

Dudes ?? Anyone running an aftermarket Master cyl ?? Tick ,shows a Tilton but gives no bore Dia.? If the throw-out bearing internal's is the on the t56 You would use a 3/4" bore,, My 66 vette conversion ran aWilwood 3/4,, Is the volume the same on a 6060 as the t56 ?? I hope you undestand what I'm trying to ask ?? What it boils down to ,, I hate to pay Tick $270 for a $75 Tilton clutch cyl, with a $35 fitting ,, Just need the correct Part # for a Wilwood or Tilton ???

I talked to a guy at tick who frankly wanted nothing to do with me. He just said "I really don't know, we just deal with stock setups here." After doing some research, the 2010 Camaro and early 00's F-body use the same master cyl bore, which is why I have one mounted up in the car. I still need to get a hose to adapt it to the TR6060 Hyd throw-out bearing. Are you putting a 6060 in your vette?

Thanks. The harnesses are from M&H, wiringharness.com. You won't want my part number since they match it to everything on your car. They're not cheap though.
