Nice work. Can you post up some cleaner photos of the motor mounts. I am about to throw my 6.0 in a z31 and need some ideas. What bushings did you use? What plates did you bolt to the motor?

Also if you go live axle I want your rear subframe complete

I can get you some close up pictures later of the mounts now that the engine is out.

It's all solid steel, very simple in it's design. Very heavy duty.

I purchased the mount kit second hand so it was all done already for me.

I am about to drop in a Chevy 350 from a Camaro, motor mount pics would be sweet, cause I am going to have to build mine.

Raylit20, in your radiator / cooling setup, will you be using a heater? Also, what will the smaller heater out fitting (5/8") on the side of the water pump be connected to? I am using your diagram as a basis for a planned swap also. Thanks.

I ended up getting engaged and that took me away from the project. She ran with the LS/T56, but only briefly because of VATS kicking in. Would have been a great car but I sold it because the fiance didn't like me spending time on it.

Now that I'm single I wish I had just parked it in a storage shed and forgotten about it for a while. At least I'd still have it then lol.

If the woman you're with doesn't like your car hobby, I suggest you kick her to the side and find another one.

Sounds like that situation self-corrected.

As they often do, but better to be proactive. Saves time and hassle.
