i think being different is cool so stay with the G. i have plenty of freinds that jumped ship and went with a ZO6 but there was never any cool factor to it the way cool engine swap cars have. either way both will have plenty of power.

Not sure what I would sell it for but I'm sure it would be around 27-29k depending on how much more I do on it. Might now get that but if it sold it sells, if not oh well. Lol

The 505hp rating is generated under SAE J-1349 testing conditions. which is about 525 Standard SAE power. The Zo6 is bad *** no doubt, but then you have a factory car. The interior can be upgraded by any upholstery shop, tough choice I bet you will miss the G if you sell it

I couldn't imagine selling my 240 after all the work and headaches i put in it, you got to keep that, z06's will always be made (hopefully) but LS G35's aren't.

You just finished building the G35, why such a change of heart? What don't you like about your swap?

I love the swap but ready to continue to build. I will be keeping the car and this winter I will be pulling the motor back out. I will be changing pistons and rods. Low compression prob with turbo setup. Waiting to get back home from work to gather some measurements for plumbing. I'm really wanting over 600 at the wheels. My wife told me to stop being a bitch and turbo it. I have to do what I'm told. Will def. keep a work up on the build as I go along. Still looking at my options for the motor internals.

Z06 does not have 500 wheel hp, that is its net hp and your car probably puts more down at the wheels than it and you hvae way better performance parts on your car already/

a z06 is overated, the ls7 is a great STOCK engine, but theres alot left to desire after that, there is not much upgrading you can do to incrase the power lvl other than supercharging it and since the block is bored out so much it cant handle as much boost as even a stock ls1.

granted where a ls6 shines is the body and aluminum frame aspect and weight. if it were me I would just get a ls3 corvette over a zo6. and put the money saved in mods and be faster than a z06. plus your g35 is a head turner, I am a corvette fan myself but they almost all look the same, same goes for f bodys

whats up this is logan on dans name. Car but down some good power! there are still some things that you are lacking that are robbing you from hitting that 500hp mark.
Spend the money on a good set of tires/wheels with wider widths FAST 102 and intake manifold and you will be in the 500 range. There was nothing like watching your friends reaction in his z06 when you pull him in your g35 lsx swapped sedan like i did the other night. Keep the car!

Yeah I know I can easy reach 500 RWHP with the fast setup. I'm thinking more of atlease 600 RWHP. I'll be pulling the motor out and want to build the bottom end. Either high compression of FI. I don't know to much about the high compression setup but looking into it. I will be buying a fast setup soon. What all did you need to put it together? I heard you need fuel rails, TB and intake manifold. I would really like to turbo it just because its more work and I enjoy seeing how well I can fab it up. I love a great engine bay with a smooth looking FI setup. Did you get some videos up yet? If so where are they cant wait to see it in action. I say we run them for pinks J/K. I'll come over there and we can go find some mustangs and vettes to play with. LOL

Also 240 I will be riding by ricks I think it is on florida blvd. when I get home. Is that where yall go or? I don't bring my car out much durring the day until I get the ac finished.

600rwhp is no big deal with your LS2 and a Maggie, and fairly safe. That's your best bet and WAY less than the beating you'll take dumping your G. Cheaper than a motor, too.

Yes Ricks is out on Florida, and Flannery usually people start showing up around 11pm on saturdays and yes some nights are pretty boring and some nights are awesome, I'm sure everyone would love to see your G35, my car is no where near as nice as yours and they enjoyed the LS 240, I haven't told anyone one so it would be a great surprise. The LS2 powered Rx7 moved to Houston but he still comes around sometimes.

When I get back in town I'll make a trip up there and let you know. It would be great to have a big meet down south in LA. I did bring the car to scrapping the coast and put it in the middle of the show. Other than that I just drive here and there. I will be getting to the track for some new numbers. I need to drive it as much as I can before I yank the engine back out for the turbo build.
