I looked at my 03 Silverado last night and noticed that this steam line in question went to the passenger side on the radiator. To me it seems like it would be more efficient if it was on the suction of the water pump, more apt to "pull" these steam pockets out. Dunno, maybe there is enough pressure to push it out regardless where the line enters back into the system.

I'll have to search to see where I should drill and tap my water pump and also if I should cap my heater core lines at the pump or connect them so they can recirculate..

On my 408 I have the LS1 line that vents all 4 corners. On my LS1 going into my S10 I'm using the one that plugs the back ones.
