Harness Brand Suggestions needed...
Hello,
Very basic question.
I am looking to put a '99 LS1/4L60 setup in my '55 chevy convertible.\I want to mount the ECU under the front seat, so I would like an extended harness like Painless offers.
I'm going to leave everything stock LS1, but don't really want to use the old wiring. Looking for the best quality/price LS1 harness I can get.
Is the Painless version with the extended length worth the money?
Any other harness brand suggestions?
Thanks.

Our harnesses feature 4-5ft of length from the back of the engine which should get you under the seat in a 55-57 Chevy. Also, they feature a grommet seal which allows for a very clean installation through the firewall that looks factory. Cost for that harness is $499, features a fuse/relay center and 100% new gm delphi connectors with TXL/GXL wire.

After my kinda "painful" experience getting some basic answers from Painless tech support, I decided not to use them.
After everything I've read, Jon and PSI are gonna get my business for sure.
Good customer service is EVERYTHING nowadays.
