So is your project documenting the swap of LS into the DeLorean, or are you actually "designing" a kit for this swap? I'm not implying that you reproduce and sell a kit to do this, but will there be enough documentation and possible drawings available for someone else to do this swap in the future?
I'd love to put this on my bucket list of swaps to do. When you finish your project, will there be a parts list and supporting design drawings to reproduce this swap?

For the most part I've documented everything. Drawings, crazy amounts of photos, notes, etc. ls1delorean.blogspot.com follows the project pretty well with explanations of the steps taken. I didn't of course include ALL the technical stuff but it's still pretty comprehensive.

Haha, thanks. It's certainly different, and a massive improvement over the original. It also finally sounds the way it should.
This was my first time working with an LS1; I would DEFINITELY work with the LS1 again after this swap. Once the physical mounting and drivetrain work was done, getting the engine going was so easy! I cant believe I actually considered the Cadillac Northstar for this project early on.
I've been wanting to restore an old Chevelle for a while; always thought I'd put a big block in it but now if that project ever comes along, I may reconsider and put a tuned LS1 in instead.
Either way, for now I'll be having fun with this guy, kicking the asses of those who think all DeLoreans are just slow
