Car had 97k but and old man owned it. The leather is perfect, no scratches, even the Ac buttons and radio don't have any wear. I got very lucky. I think Hinson offers a tach adapter but I just went with the autometer. Had other **** to deal with besides that at he time.

I didn't buy anything from them. I would use Sikky mounting kit and Chase Bays wiring harness. Chase Bays looks like their wiring harness is perfect and looks good as well. Sikky does have a great kit other than the wiring harness.

Great looking conversion, looks like you have about as much room around the engine, as I do in my Astro. Is that header wrap on the air intake piping? cool idea.

Yeah its header wrap, not really sure if it helps that much but it does look a lot better that way. Yes there is a lot of room around the engine. The LS2 fits way better the the stock V6 did. You can get to anything anywhere on it. Very nice to have the room.

I order the replicas, they were only 135 each shipped. At first I bought two rear wheels just to be able to put bigger slicks on them but decided after to go ahead and put them all around. I was really wanting to keep the car stock looking but they come with 8" rims in the rear which is garbage. Yeah I'm very happy with the sound and Thunder Racing did a great job with the tune. It made a world or difference. Actually my car will be featured on THmotorsports. I will be home in a few days and get the new wheels on and get some pictures.

it seems you're always pretty busy, still waiting to see your car at RIcks, you should make time to make it out to TX2K12 in houston I think in March. the Import Faceoff shows are alright but nothing special, probably the best car show closest to LA

Yeah I usually have something going on. Also I work west texas about 13 days out of the month. I was gonna do the import faceoff but they said I wouldn't be able to rub my car. I told them its all motor why not? Depending on work and how it falls I might be able to get over there to TX2012. I'll be at ricks next weekend. I also think I met up with a friend of yours that drive a G35. He wanted to buy my old trans and said he knew you. Cant remember his name but its a 06 coupe.

That's a bad-*** swap you did there. Very clean, and almost stock looking under the hood with the engine cover on. Very nice job.

Your stock gears are almost identical to the stock GTO gears (3.46). I always shifted out of 4th around 140 in the Goat, but it always pulled hard and had plenty of power at any rpm.

There's a lot you can get rid of. Front reinforcement beam. Spare tire and jack. Lighter wheels. Cut quarter panels in the rear under the plastics. Remove seat motors and rePlace with slide rails.

I'm on my way home right now for around three days to put the new wheels on. Been looking at putting 427 stroked block assem. I drove my bosses viper with 605 hp and it is what I want my cr to do. Spun completely through fourth. I NEED MORE POWER. Big changes come this winter.

I'm in favor of ditching the spare and getting rid of the back seat. Already have some corbeau seats and brackets for the fronts. Don't wanna be cutting into the metal to much or be taking out any reinforcement stuff.

Got the new wheels and tires on ready to go. 265/40/18 in the rear. A lot more meat than the stock 8" wide tires. Here are a few pictures.
