Do iron brocks brake at the mount?
Do iron brocks brake at the mount? I was looking for starter bolt size and ran across multiple threads where the block mounts break with the first design starter. My questions is, is this also true for iron blocks? I have a starter with the inboard "small" mounting tab. Do I need to get a better starter?

Correct. The dual long bolt starter is the Updated starter nose cone design.
