Nice build. ALOT of hard work went into it, but it sure looks worth it. What braided hose and fittings did you use?
thanks,
Jim

nice, very nice..... i'm the first one to do a gn conversion, in a z that i can remember, there was a guy in florida and i around the same time, (scotty) but he went all out, and i retained much more of a stock car with the gn motor... thought about doing this, but i have 2000 passes on mine and two motors, so, no biggie. best of a 10.4. but i'm building a new project, an 82 vette with an ls motor, no big plans, just a driver. but i really enjoyed your z car.... i have been loving z cars for 30 years. and i have a garage full.... nice car, and i like your work...
Jimbo, I used the summit brand braided hose and pretty much all summit fittings. I had some issues with a few of their fittings, but they have top notch customer service and helped me out without question.

Tirso San Juan down here in miami area has a nasty datsun Z with a SBC and a boat load of juice. his car i have heard is a low 8 sec car and it hooks up on the street. if i ran in to any of your cars on the street i would know better then to even try. those cars are so great for lsx conversion and done right they look so dam good.

One afternoon I was sitting in front of the tv eating dinner and I hear a noise. I didn't know what was making such a ruckus outside as this time of year I'm not used to hearing tough car sounds going by. I peek out my window and there is Mr Fosta!
The Z sounds great! It was really nice to see it up and running, I know how many late laborious nights he has put into this car. Now that the rings are seated and broken in, I want a ride!
Also, as a Holley person, I'm glad to hear you're stoked on the pump!

Updated the build a bit, I have a new fuel pump and FPR setup. Also, the car is up and running again with a new cam that is a "bit" more aggressive. Ill see if I can get a video clip without my phone distorting.
