Well I found out my intake was just too much hose (Had it run under the front of the car) and it would collapse the piping over 6k WOT. Changed it up a bit, I will swap out the MAF for a pipe in a few days once I get one made.

Update, I ran a 9.7 @ 138 last week on 91 octane and drag radials. Drove the car 200 miles that day too. Having some converter issues (Blowing through it I think) and was having belt slippage too. Going to go back next week and try to hit a 9.5 on radials.

Ran a 9.7 @ 138 with a horrible 1.55 60. I did a 1.42 ealier on a partial pass.
Both passes are on radials at 7lbs of boost. I bumped it to 12+ lbs now, and I was blowing through the converter so Ill be buying a neal chance next week. I'll get to 8s someday if my wallet will let me

Wow this is a inspiring post, I'm about to dive into a lsx 240z swap myself. What oil pan did you need to run? And do you think I would have any trouble clearing a t56 in the transmission tunnel?

T56 fits with a little massaging, but its really not bad. If you are looking for info hybridz.org has a lot of help for that swap.
Also update: got a sponsorship with Wicked1 Racing, who provided me with a holley dominator system :-D Can't wait to try it out. No more stock ecu for me.

Badass Z-car, sir. I'm more of a twisties and turnies kinda guy, personally, so the fats and skinnies straight line stuff isn't really doing it for me. But either way, you have a sick car.
I've always wanted to build a Z, it's really good to see another one on here with an LSx in it.
