I raised the engine about 3/4 inch to clear the power steering box and the center link. The truck pan hung down lower than a deep SBC pan. My car doesn't sit real low but I went through a dip in the road at 30mph and bottomed it out. I bought the CTS-V pan because I got a good deal on it on Ebay and I read that the GMPP pan was the H2 pan and still hung low. The CTS-V pan fit perfect where I had the engine mounted for the truck pan.

I know this isn't an LS car but it is my wife's 2010 Detonator Yellow Dodge Challenger SRT8. I put the Halos in this morning.

Last night I put the turbo back on the car. Short of a little exhaust ticking, it seems to running well and not smoking. Put a Garret rebuild kit I bought on Ebay in the turbo. Wasn't hard to rebuild at all and works! Hopefully the rain holds off Friday night so I can take it to Lowe's and make sure the turbo is gonna hold out. Wish me luck.

Not happy. Took the car up to get gas and the turbo I rebuilt has blown up. Its smoking and making a horrible noise. Ordered a new one.

Bummer. You triple check your oil line and make sure you have oil to it when the car is running?? Bucket test?

Very odd for sure.

Are you running a restrictor?

Does it call for one?

Yes, there is a restrictor, about a .020" hole in the oil inlet adapter. They came with a screw in restritor I didn't use because the adaptrs had one. The t70s that were on there for 8months never had an issue and the right turbo thats been on there for 4 months doesn't have an isue. I guess I just got a bad one. Whe the new one comes I'll put it on then start saving for some Garrets or something. Need a trans first, really want t56.
