Which side do you plan on mounting the turbo? I'm wanting to mount mine on the passenger side so I can use the stock fuse box. Just wondering the pros and cons to this. Everyone mounts them on the drives side.

I'm doing neither I plan on mounting mine in the front but slightly offset to the passenger side. I'm also going non-intercooled and with a bumper exit down pipe so it's far from typical.

I see mostly passenger side mounts but really I don't think it matters either way. If I was building more of a street car I'd go with passenger side mount and run the down pipe over the passenger side header and down along that side of the transmission. The driver side is too cluttered between the steering shaft, clutch cable if you are a stick car or shifter linkage if you have an auto.

Hey Mustang LS, What size are your coilovers up front?

I was gonna go trick springs and adjustables but I hate putting them in.....

The mustang coil overs are pretty standard and use 2.5" ID coil over springs. I'm using 14-175# springs. I tried 14-150s but I have a few speed bumps down the street from me and the front end would bottom out if I didn't stop at each bump.

No problem.

Holley 120# injectors, dual billet fuel pump, 5 bar map sensors and boost control solenoids have showed up. I'm dropping the car off at the chassis shop Thursday or Friday.

I was reading back and didn't see anything about how you wired your alternator. I'm also running an hp system, and will need some input if you don't mind.

What paint did you use for your engine bay? I'm sorry if I missed it. Badass build

I wired the alternator about a year and a half ago so I'll need to look at the car to refresh my memory on how I did it. If I remember right I used the factory Mustang trigger wire and ran that to the B prong on the GM alternator connector. Then a 4 gauge main wire right to the side of the fuse box. I'm going to change that to directly to the battery once I get the car back.

Thanks. The engine bay is just plain ol rattle can satin black. When the time comes to build a forged bottom end I'll do some cosmetic work on the engine bay and paint it to match the car.

Crappy cell phone pics but you get the idea. Still needs to be painted and bottom half of window net installed.
