Default 6.0 LQ4 set-up in 69 Camaro

I am wanting build about 450 horse motor for this car. What heads and intake combo would help me get that HP. I would like to get a set of GM L92 heads and a fast 102 intake or a LS3 or LS6 intake. Any help would be thankful.

GM LS3 heads new are little over $300 bucks each won't post link as they are not sponsors. Add the off set intake rockers and an LS3 intake and cam to match heads and you should make 450 at wheels.

LS3 are same castings as L92 with better valves. LS5 intake will not fitt those heads

You could send the L92's to be worked, put a medium cam in, Fast 102, and a set of long tubes and you should be there easy.

One thing tho, if you havent started the build yet, is rear tires. I would recomend mini tubing the back so you can fit a bigger, stickyer tire.

LS3 intake is going to be a 4 bolt mounting flange, so yes, you will need to change the throttle body. Might want to convert to drive by cable.

You can convter it to DBC but have to buy a aftermarket 90mm DBC TB.

Might as well just buy a TB harness adapter http://www.torquerush.com/Purchase.html be cheaper
