Default DBW L76 and TH400...help me make sure I do it right.

What I have...

-L76
-DBW TB
-GMPP harness for DBW
-TH400-will eventually go T56 so I don't want expense of 4L80E

Things to address/confirm

-L76 6.0L should have standard crank (not longer like 99-00 or whatever) so what flexplate should I look for since I don't have one now?

-VSS? What is needed?

Use flexplate 12621399
spacer 12563532
bolts x6 12563533

all available from you local GM dealer.

I just put my engine in today and even though that flexplate number if the conversion on right from GM I found the converter holes don't line up. Elongating will be in my future.

Thanks...I may actually go with the TR6060 now since I want a 6-speed. We'll see how it pans out.

Was originally planning on T56 but am buying a TR6060 w/ 11k, hydraulics, and pedals for $1700. McLeod makes many different shifters that can replace the remote shifter setup and driveshaftshop.com makes driveshafts to bolt up to the 3 bolt flange style.
