I know this is really late response, but incase you still havent painted yet-
My buddy painted his gen 3 camaro with a roll on paint called Interlux Bright side, it required maybe 7 coats and a ton of wet sanding, but it turned out easily as good as a factory paint job, probably better...

Its made for boats but looks great on cars if you sand between coats.
Stuff runs like $35 a gallon, with sanding pads and everything you should be able to get out under $150 total.

Worth looking into. You can search online and find examples of brightside paint jobs...
