Yes it is at stock "Swap" height and im pretty sure it would not fit under a stock hood.

Where is that shop at in VB? I'd like to check it out sometime, and maybe bench race a turbo setup for my Burb.
Thanks, would like to see the burb. I'm selling a LS1 swapped 91 camaro now. Its actually at a import shop, this is there chance to branch off into the domestic world.

Yea the interior is gutted right now. Currently want to finish the wiring before we get to that but hopefully in a week or so we will be getting to that.

Yes it fits (Barely) under the hood and i've got plenty of clearence before it hits the cowl.

No back to back dyno pulls that i know of but me being FI it can only help. We should be doing a back to back comparison between this and the Holley intake later this year.

I do to. Once this one gets done I'll hunt for another to do with a big cube LSX.

Love what you are doing here! Nothing like LSX swaps in a 3rdgen!

Nice looking build. Are you running the stock cast crank?

Love this build so far. Can't wait to see what happens with the new turbo setup.

Since my DD benz got wrecked figured I'd replace it with something to tow my blue paperweight around with.

My Hydro-Coating is getting way gooder to...

Tubular K-member is finally in. Should have the motor to follow soon. Now debating on if I should go with drop spindles or not. Wiring harness is with BC to finish getting the Mil-Spec treatment.

Sorry for the crappy pics, my phone is on its last leg I think.

Couple things. First it saves around 25lbs off the front end. 2nd my swap motor mounts for the LSx made the motor sit uneven. So we tried to shim it and then other stuff didn't fit and... I decided to just try a tubular K-member again.

I'm starting a similar build but curious what k-member you went with? I've looked at umi, spohn, BMR, and pa racing trying to figure out which one works the best. Most of the guys on thirdgen.org seem to like the pa racing one. What's your choice and did you try/research any of the others? I've heard about the motor sitting crooked on some of them, and shimming issues with others, so just want to make sure I grab the best one I can find

Thanks man,

Billy

Sorry i didn't answer you sooner, just saw this. For the K-member I had a spohn first and fit like **** so i sold it and put a stocker in. Then finally realized that the swap mounts on the stock K-member made the motor sit crooked so after ALOT of research i went with the PA racing and i could not me happier with the end fitment.

The wheels are 18x9 18x11 CCW LM5s

Isn't the saying two is better than one?

Header wrap has to change though.
