Got out to the garage today had buddy come over and help me finish bolting my motor down. Shes all in everything clears great. Started on my grand cherokee steering box swap today also got it all torn apart but ran into a problem with the rag joint it wont go on the box. I think they gave me the wrong one at the parts store.

I used a Dorman part# 31011 for the rag joint from Amazon for I think like $40.00 it will fit onto the grand cherokee box and then bolt right up to your existing intermediate shaft.

Update: Started my fuel pump installation got my hole cut in the tank, mounting holes drilled and tank dollied smooth. Started assembling the pump bucket and housing and measuring for my hose lengths then i drop my pump and dont you know it bust the feed nipple rate off!
On a better note got the fans all installed used aluminum L channel bolted to the bottom of the rad support and then drilled few holes in the fans on the top and bolted it to the radiator cover, seems to be very stable hopefully it works well too.

I did the radiator and fan pretty much the same way. You can even carve off the extra mount tabs to clean the whole thing up. I also used foam tape to seal the fan shroud to the radiator to make sure there are no air leaks. And yes this will ultimately make a cooling difference.

Sucks about the pump. Do you think it was damaged at the factory or did you force it and it broke? I've done that before. I mounted a PT Cruiser fan module we had laying around the shop in mine. Very similar to the way you installed yours. My car never goes over 190*.

Yeah I got to looking at those tabs I'm going to take them off with my dremel. As for the pump I had it laying in my lap while putting the bucket setup together and it rolled off and hit the concrete floor just right, I didnt even get the chance to fit the pump.
