I'm looking in to doing the same thing, except going full street car, ac, interior and all the good stuff.

I'm just getting in to ls stuff, but what would you expect that turbo to make power wise? 800ish?

Can you tell me where you got the block above the oil filter in the pic or what it's off of? I'm looking for way to hook up my oil pressure gauge. That is a pressure port isn't it? I'm new to this LS stuff and my holley pan came with a block off there.

Thanks
Allen

I can't believe you paid someone and they used electrical tape. Couldn't even heat shrink anything and you consider it marvelous. I'd hate to see what you consider "okay" work

then you probably got the wrong master cylinder. ive driven manual brake foxbodys and the difference if set up right is negligible. yeah takes more effort but you feel way more in touch with the car.

You said you order 2 of those plugs to go in the breather cap location. Do you plan on using another passenger valve cover on the drivers side also? Do you have a link to those as I may pick some up also. They look really convenient. Much easier than drilling tapping welding and coming up with fittings. Looks great

yeah i already had another passenger side valve cover ready so it was just a matter of swapping it over. these things fit perfect and they should do exactly what i want them too.

I had to go back and look up the picture you were referring to out of my own curiosity. That doesn't look like electrical tape to me, looks more like OEM-grade PVC harness wrap tape. It's non-adhesive and is fantastic for tidying up harnesses, whether you're going to use an additional covering or not. I don't know if I read your meaning correctly, but heat-shrinking an entire harness would be unnecessary, expensive, and make it a pain in the **** to modify if you ever needed to work on it again. Heat shrink is great, but not as a full-harness wrap IMHO.

Nice car, looks like it should really haul.

im 100% positive they fit on the camaro and the truck valve covers as im using one of each on the car haha. only diffeence is the baffling on the inside and the camaro cover has 2 extra bungs for the coils.

Billet S480 is in the car. only thing i have to do is slot my bolt holes on my T6 flange ever so slightly and this turbo is a DIRECT drop in for the GT42. jose at forced inductions was not ******* around when he told me that. im so excited about this!! thought id have to redo some of my hotside and some of my coldside to get this to fit but hot damn if this ****** didnt drop right into place!!

im redoing my intake tube as i was using a 45* elbow and a buddy (**** you kyle) pointed out that it would suck closed under higher boost so im redoing it with an aluminum elbow. my cage is also almost complete. all thats left is to fit the knee bar and door bars in and weld it all up. after that its the rear end and wiring and this bitch will fire up!!! trying to get her done before august 1st for hot august nights.
