i someitmes wish i would have just gone with a cam headers and nitrous on this thing. putting FI on it is so much more involved but i know the end result will be way more satisfying. + im a turbo guy. always have been.

pulled the motor today. put my solid machined grommets in my AJE K member. also put my ctsv oil pan on. forgot my digi cam so sorry for the low res POS iphone photos.
i fabbed up my dipstick tube. i took the stock ctsv one and cut the flange on it and rewelded it and bent the tube to fit. it looks stock and fits perfect.
this motor is pretty much ready to run at this point. im starting to get excited every time i work on it cause it feels like alot of progress is being made. im going to clean up the engine bay while the motors out. its pretty ******* disgusting lol.

ok so i stuck the motor back in lol. was antsy to see how things cleared with tall the new stuff i put in. i had my wastegate tube in my hotside relocated to a different angle. hard to see in the pic.
also wanted to see if the dipstick cleared. clears just fine.
relocated the FPR (**** you kyle).
and finally a pic of the BOV and LS7 maf.

well i bought everything for my fuel system minus a couple of fittings yesterday. i got a magnafuel 4303 pro pump and a **** ton of fittings and black braided line. i went down and got all my engine bay stuff taken care of.
had to send my crossover pipe back to the welder to get a gusset to support the wastegate and when thats done i wont have to pull the system apart againuntil i put the cam in it. in a nutshell the engine compartment is almost done. next phase will be the chassis and i cant wait for that.
