I got the 7.5 out and set out for the trash men. I also got the steering shaft moved over ( thanks Don). The flaming river rack and shaft are in and adjusted to be close enough to roll around. One of my rear race star rims are bent (wtf). So to make it worse they sent me 12mm lug nuts not 1/2x20. So the car still sits on jack stands. I got the t5 tranny mount drilled for the turbo 350 and tomorrow I'll slot the crossmember so it fits better. I'm going to clean up the underside of the car and get the 8.8 installed.

Looking good. Im in the same boat. 4 banger coupe to LS1 alternator. Ive tried to figure out how to mount the 4banger alt on the 6.0L somehow but kinda at a stand still on mine till I get my rearend built and minitubs finished. Long way from working on the motor.

If you get if figured out post up. Ive got an LS1 alternator and the Ford one. Plug and play would be nice.

Are you going to run the ford solenoid? If not run a #4 from the gm alt to the starter. I took a few pics of Tim's car. The wiring is done nice and clean. I hope to try to duplicate it this week while im off

I ordered my gauges today. I went with the brushed aluminum background and ultra light gauges. I also go the cars lights to come on. So it looks like I should be starting the car by this weekend

The right lug nuts finally showed up also. I'm waiting on 02's and Lakewood rear shocks to come in. The cluster will be here in 7-10 days
