Not sure if you've got the throttle stumble sorted yet, but I bet it's because of the higher fuel pressure due to the 340 pump. If your fuel pressure is anything other than 58-60psi, the IFR table will need work. The PCM can't monitor fuel pressure so it assumes you're running stock pressure, and the injectors are rated for stock pressure. Adding more fuel pressure is somewhat similar to adding bigger injectors, and would wreak havoc on a tune that would otherwise be spot on.

It revs now....I believe it was something in TQ Management or the Abuse tables. I may know more tonight and I'll be trying to whittle the changes I've made to get it to run down into a small number.

I have an aeromotive fuel pressure regulator along with a gauge, so pressure control is not an issue, and it also pressure contradicts the car going lean which is causing the stumble

It was definitely something in torque management and abuse. The ONLY tables I modified from the tune that was on it previously were as follows:

Name: Torque_Management.jpg
Views: 751
Size: 80.0 KB

Got the extra gauges hooked up and in place

Name: ad9b25a9.jpg
Views: 740
Size: 220.3 KB

Got a majority of the chassis harness shortened up and fuseboxes relocated

Name: b0603c1e.jpg
Views: 745
Size: 273.6 KB

Here's a video of it running. I dont have any PCV stuff hooked up and the logs show it pretty rich with no-load revving, so its a little smokey

Next I'll be working on getting the cooling system buttoned up so I can actually get it rolling and any issues that pop up ironed out. After that I'll make the move to the bigger injectors and its on to the dyno....

Missed a few small updates, mostly cooling system stuff but.........

After a pretty much 3 straight months of solid thrashing, blood, sweat, and many trial by fires - I took it out for its maiden voyage tonight!

Felt awesome to finally get it on the road and to be able to feel the car.

Its an AEM 30-4100

Havent gotten into the gas barely at all yet, I was very light into it. I havent done any tuning above atmospheric pressure yet. Looking forward to getting into it after I get the gauges working and the interior put back in

Great job on the fab work, and clean install!

This honestly has me considering selling my GTO and jumping into a conversion myself.

Having never owned anything V8 before (except an 05 silverado) its hard for me to offer my input, but its hard to argue power to weight in scenarios like these.

The aftermarket of the LS platform + the aftermarket of the nissan S chassis (240sx) really makes it pretty easy to get something like this done.

I have been debating on building another one after this is done (minus a turbo and 6-speed) just to see how cheap I could actually do it. I have the ability to build my own mounts, exhaust, cooling system, etc now. I can assume it would be in the sub 5k range to drop a 5.3 into one of these.

I got my LS/t56 in my s40 for just over 6k using a swap kit, including buying the car and motor, upgrading the LS1 is what starts making the swap costly, so building your own mounts and oil pan will definitely get you under 5k, and whats also great about the swap is that it's so easy to work on the motor, while its in the car, intake swaps, head swaps, clutch replacement, its so much less work than it would be in a camaro. The only thing that I think is a pain to remove from the engine bay, (not unbolt) is the headers, motor has to dance around to get those headers from under the hood.

dropping a 5.3 might be able to do it for 3-4k everything bone stock

If you dont mind... which z diff wasnt holding up for you? Na or tt?

Jeese, seems like your goin to be in a pickle when it comes time for the car meets lol which one you going to bring out. Im not huge s13 guy but you did the swap really good and when you get it tune the 500hp should be easy. Car should be a blast to drive.
