Will it work with an iron block?

You have to drill and tap a hole that normally isn't there on the iron block. It's no big deal though. Not sure what the belt routing looks like for that setup tough.

This is how you do it using an F-body alternator bracket. (Not my car.) It will also work with a G8 alternator bracket. The F-body and G8 brackets are essentially the same with different accessory spacing. (F-body belt and accessories are farther from the engine, G8 belt and accessories are closer to the engine.)

Does anyone know what belt this setup uses? Part # or length?

TIA

FWIW, last week I saw someone use a Corvette crank pulley and a G8 alternator run an A/C belt between the two. It eliminated the need for the tensioner.
