I swapped an '11 Crown Vic PI with a 6.0/80E and the stock express computer/harness. You can use the GM PCM to drive the older (analog) Ford clusters (I'm using a Marauder unit). I didn't bother trying to crack the newer CANBUS cluster.

A bit both on and off topic to this resurrected thread, but I've got my GTO's original T56 that was pulled when I did my Mangum F swap. A friend who's gathering parts for an LSA 5.3 2010 Vic build wants to use my T56 in it, but we weren't sure and couldn't find a lot of documentation on which variation of the T56 guys were using. Anyone have any experience, insight or recommendations for him?

Guys have manual swapped Crown Vics before using the original Ford motors so it's not impossible to install a manual trans. I believe they used the 4.6 Mustang 5 speed parts (pedals, etc); As long as it's a hydraulic system I don't see why you couldn't use that to actuate the T56 slave. Then it's just a matter of cutting a hole in the floor.
