The kids will like that bar when they go for a ride with helmets on!!
BING BANG BONG!!! HAHAHAHAH LOL
For the ignition on these, its actually really easy to do. one wire to ground, one to battery, and one to a constant ignition that also has power when cranking. Other than that, no big deal... the rest of the harness is all 100% plug and play for the coil packs and crank trigger and cam sensor.
As for the starter deal, for my own opinion, since you have a wire run to the solenoid, I would have just ran it up under the front of the engine like the stock setup is from GM and run the starter engage wire to the starter directly. Most of the pans on the front and somewhere down the side have the little retainer holes for routing the wire retainer clamps.

yes ls6 and fast intake it will fit with plenty room to spare. I'm thinking of carb now. looks like it might be close, just depends on how high the engine sits with those mounts.

wow, looks like it almost sticks out. appreciate the pic, gives me a good idea. I bought a fiberglass flat hood and just had the car painted so was trying to see if I can get it to fit. thanks again for the pic.

Doesn't look like it. I have the same problem on my fairmont. I'm going with street scoop though. With your setup, I vote on new hood to save weight. There are about 3 million available for your car
