Need help: Ls1 in a 94 lt1 trans am
Need help: Ls1 in a 94 lt1 trans am I have a 94 lt1 trans am i picked up to fix up and i have a ls1 motor out of my old z28 just laying which i started thinking about just putting the ls1 in that trans am to enjoy this summer.
my main issue is the wiring. If i decide to go with the project, i want to know how hard is it to make a ls1 work in a obd1 car due to the wiring differences.
another thing if im not mistaking i heard i should put in a 99+ fuel tank but still use the pre 99 fuel pump assembly in a swap like this.
Pretty much my main concern is if its worth doing this swap or should i just stick with the lt1 in that car and find a 95+ f body to put the ls1 in

Pretty simple to do. 94 isn't really that much different..don't touch anything on the fuel system wiring on the car.

also will the lt1 fuel line hook up without a problem to the ls1 fuel rails??
btw i remember that red z28 you had , i was going to buy the lt1 motor with lt4 cam form you a while back for my old formula
