Thanks! Eventually going to have some 9" wide buick rallys made and throw a set of MTs 295 wide. That should help a little from a dig!

So you are getting close, looks great. I had a bit of an issue with the Magnaflow system I used. But all adversity can be overcome with brute force and ignorance. I prove this daily.

Fired up the engine today. Just got it to idle at a really low rpm and that was about it. For some odd reason my computer had "syncng" problems and I was not able to make any adjustments! I will be doing more studying on tuning and how to use the software, and hopefully I can get someone over here that is a bit more experienced.
Other than that, got the fan in, put the bench seat in, exhaust sitting better, and bled the clutch master, brakes are a different story. Cant get any preasure out for the rear brakes!?!! Thinking that I got a bad master. Took a pic of the engine compartment with radiator/fans in, and the bench with the shifter.
Brought my car back home, parked it in the garage for the winter. Still have lots of unfinished things to complete. Its time to get out to my stand and put some meat in the freezer!

Before you condemn the master, did you try gravity bleeding the system to the rear. I have had to do this with rear disc before. Just crack the bleeders and pot a small hose over them into a container and walk away for a few hours. It is not uncommon for big bubbles to get stuck. Also you may need to ratchet the park brake a few times to get the caliper adjusters to close up some of the gap. My guess is that these are OE style GM rears?

The rear calipers are actually a ford caliper, I had torino style bearings welded on to my rear end so I could bolt in my axles instead of the c clip eliminators. Yes I did try gravity bleeding over night and I do have fluid to the rear brakes. The reason I think that its the master is due to the fact that when I take the line off of the master itself for the rears, I hold my finger on the outlet and have someone push the brake pedal and there is hardly any preasure. It almost only pours fluid not push. Has me scratching my head because its brand new. Just another one of those 5 minute jobs. Came up with a new name for the car. Clock Sucker!

Thanks guys. The lower hose is a high pressure 1 1/2 flex hose and the upper is a NAPA 7558. Guy at napa let me go in back and look at his stock and pick out my own, it fit like a glove with no cutting. The shifter is whatever standard unit that American powertrain supplies with the trans, it actually is perfect for my application.

Have not done much with the GS lately. Work, kids, and hunting have been getting in the way. I did get in contact with rightstuff, they sent me a new master cylinder, excellent customer service!!!!!! So far I painted it and I should put it on and start the bleeding process this weekend.
I also contacted painless wiring the other day, I picked up their metric temp switch/sender so I should have an accurate temp reading to control the fans. Now I just have to figure out where I will wire the temp gauge.
And last but certainly not least, I picked up the holley touchscreen. I planned on getting it later down the road but with my laptop not "syncing", it hurried the purchase. Freed up some cash when I sold my 68 GS 400 4 speed (hated to let it go, but I can not afford another project!). I may not even hook up the gauges anymore due to the fact that the holley should have a gauge display on the touch screen. Hell I may skip on the tach too lol!

Good to hear that you may have a solution for the brake problem. Over the years I have come to the conclusion that new parts are just not broke yet, fortunately most take a while to break.

Looking like tomorrow will be the maiden voyage for the green clock sucker! Brakes are all good, hoods on, got a few loose ends to tie up and time to hook up the touch screen and play!

It lives!!!!! Wanted to post a video but this notebook I have been using I cant figure out. Gary and Casey from Wegner Motorsports came to my house to help me with the computer and get it running. Big thanks to them guys!!!! Gary knows the holley program well and was able to blow through everything and identify any issues that needed to be addressed(you know there always ends up being something). The unfortunate thing about it was I was tied up with other things and was unable to watch what he was doing as far as tuning. Anyways after driving it a bit on the self learn the engine really started coming alive I mean this thing is f ing fast! The 6 speed is amazing, the suspension was tight, it stopped well, but the engine stole the show. Still lots of stuff to do over the winter but damn am I happy! will post a video soon

No new updates, alot of unfinished stuff all over the car. I have managed to put over a 100 miles on it. Its f ing amazing!
