Thanks 1970 LSCamaro. She and I do. It's almost ready for paint, and we have been driving it a bit. All has been good till the rain today and something is getting flooded (wet) and she does not like it. We went shopping today and after we left the last shop she was kickin and missing like hell and would only run wide open, peddling it, and it spins like a bandit on a dry day! Needless to say it was a interesting ride home and as we turned on our street she was as if there was no problem. What the #@%k . Last time it rained we had no problems.

Got the tune sorted out last night. It was thirsty for fuel and needed a few other changes. Now I can get back to getting her ready for paint.

Well it's all been good for a little over a year Except for the annoying whine of the walbro fuel pump. It died and replaced with a aeromotive stealth 340 wow what a difference you can not here the pump at all and better pressure. I highly recommend the 340 if you are going to LS swap.

This is exactly what I'd planned to do with my Elco. Did you have to widen the trans tunnel to fit the 4L60 in there?

Sorry, I didn't see this post till now. I was deployed when I posted it in 2012. It's not LS car, it's got a SBC 350 with a Holley Avenger EFI. That's why I went with the Rick's Tank. It was completed before I got deployed, but I tore it apart again. I'm rewiring it with American Autowire. I switched out the Stewart Warner Power gauges to the Green Line Gauges. In a couple of months it'll be getting Wilwood brakes all around.

Bt1 I could have just massaged it with a sledge but since we all ready had the body in the air off the frame I said what hell sliced each side of the tunnel and across the firewall leaving it attached at the hump and welded in a filler peace raising it about 1 1/5 inch this way the floor doesn't get as hot. post up you progress

1975delta88 Thanks for your services. sbc still rock I will be finishing up a little 434 for my 68 bird soon I hope. Wilwoods would awesome. We Definitely need a good brake upgrade from the factory disc drum setup.
