Have you had anyone look at the diamond plate covers on the engine and mistake the whole thing for a coyote yet? If not, I bet it happens eventually.

How much clearance do you have between the intake and the hood?
Do you think there is any chance of a truck intake fitting under a factory 67 hood?

Sorry josh, not hijacking your thread. Lincoln I have a slightly different set up but the truck intake stuck through my 1966 hood by 1 inch. This was using the truck pan maybee a f body pan will lower it enough. The big problem was the alternator I can post some picts if needed.

Hey josh have you gotten yours back from body shop?

These cars did have 428 & 390's from the factory, which were wider engines than an LS motor. They had stock shock towers in the big-block cars.

My fast 102 intake is about even with the inner top shock towers.
