so after this mishap was cleared out i found another website called currentperformance.com who speciallizes in wiring but they have lsx conversion parts.. there i found they had sanderson shorty 1 5/8 headers and ordered them right away ...

till now there is no confirmation on when they would arrive but it should be here in about two weeks..

before then i will restore other parts of the car as well as checking the fuel tank to see if the fuel pump is a high pressure pump enough to support the ls1

...

yes i know... its close to impossible to find awd headers for lsx swaps due to the variation of setups which is why people just make it a turbo setup instead

when you did your project did you already planned the turbo setup??

i have a set of block huggers i'll get you and you can see if they fit or not .

worse case scenario you can always have them custom made locally .

Its been awhile since i updated so i just wanted to tell you guys about the progress ...

all this time i was pretty much fixing and restoring the interior ..
i removed the rear air suspension compressor and air shocks are replaced it with monroe sensatrac's...
i took out the fuel tank and took out the fuel pump...im still looking for a high pressure fuel pump that would fit..

i ordered the flywheel spacer already and its on its way the headers still didnt arrive till now..

my brother told be something about the ls1 ecm ... he said that i couldnt run the car unless the ecm gets unlocked....i dont really understand what he meant.. and he doesnt know the details..do you guys know what this is??

For the ecm you have to get the anti theft program taken out of it. As for the fuel pump drop in a walbro they work fine for what your doing.
