Default 71 Impala Twin Turbo LSX 440ci

Latest project.
71 Impala with Turbonectics T76s on LSX 440ci.
Should be done with motor and wired in a month. We hope to put 1500rwhp down...although the skinny tires aren't going to work on they dyno, unless we fit a few guys to stand in the trunk.

Car was out for sound and took awhile to get to finish up tune of the motor.
Holley EFI dominator used for ecu.

Figured I would share as all love LS motors and with couple of hair dryers in the mix doesn't hurt

Nice build! I have a 70 ragtop that I put a 5.3 in. I'm thinking of putting a turbo on it. I will be following your build to see how you do. Did you do any frame/chassis reinforcement to hold up all that torque you're going to be making?

Yes, a custom one was made.
Are you in Dade County? You can talk to builder or see this car in person if you are.

If you can weld, you can do it.
Sounds like you are better off having a shop do it for you. If u are in Florida, my friend can do the work for you at his shop.

Buickborn...if you do please share your setup.... I want to do this to Both my 75 Caprice and 75 Pont. Grandville.....Im going to cruise the junk yards and look for a 90-96 B Body EFI Gas Tank. Im going to start at the rear and work my way forward when it comes to compiling parts... Saw 75 B-body car on Youtube with a LM7 motor and the truck intake. The guy said he used small block motor mounts and a F body oil pan......

maxgee,
I've been a fan of your car since it was first being posted on ECR. Then i stumbled on HOP motorsports and was just wowed the type of work they do. Your car is the epitome of a Dade car, MUCH PROPS. Def hope to see it in person and on the streets soon or at the shows since they should start coming in again. Keep up the amazing work.
