My goals from the beginning were to have a clean, 600-700hp 10sec daily driver, and its proving to be one hell of a daily lol. Now I just need a 10sec pass haha

Got her a new plate

I put on the front plate lol, after driving it for 5 mins on the freeway it began to start overheating. I then took the plate bracket and plate off and it was back to normal. Its weird that the bracket caused the wind to go around the top grill. So, I added some more cooling to the front of the car. It really didnt need it with the plate off, but I saw it done on a buddies racecar and loved the look.

Clean car. I hoping I can put an l33 in my mx83 Cressida. Do you have anymore info on the alternator bracket. I have access to a water jet and plasma cuter it looks simple enough to make.

Thanks
Joe

Thanks Its pretty dead up here, we have a few runs every once in awhile. Mostly just running on the highway and backroads with friends cars.

Very Nice! Just read through this thread. I didn't see any information about wiring, was this difficult? I probably just missed it in the thread...

Are you going with the Supra LSD I told you about? Also on the discussion of rear traction, I am running a little reverse rake to get more weight on the rear.

It wasnt difficult at all really. All the motor needs is about 6 wires to run.

Yes, I need to find a clutch type LSD with a 3.73 rear gear. Know of any? Im using the old tried and true 2 bags of quickrete in the trunk, works like a charm

Nice work. I'm in the process of changing out my DP and exhaust from 3" to 3.5". I've seen aluminum exhausts before... any disadvantages that you are aware of? Do you think high EGTs will wreak havoc on the down pipe?

Nice. People say a disadvantage is longevity and heat cycles, some say high exhaust temps will melt the system. Ive personally seen many cars around here with aluminum exhausts run on street cars with zero issues. Also, my setup is stainless from the turbo to the passenger foot well where it goes around the motor, then aluminum.
