IS300 LSx Build / Initial Startup
Its been a long process of getting parts, making parts, getting things to fit etc for my build. Today I filled it with fluids and fired it up. Right now the belt is off because Im having a radiator made next week. I was so suprised that it fired right up, once we put gas in it :lolguy: Its going to MooreSpeed Performance next week for some "exhaust" work :fuckyeah:

C6Antwon,
Clean install. Isn't the turbo gonna on the thermostat/housing? What black braided hose and fitting did you use for your fuelrails? What is the procedure to install s fitting on them? I never did SS hose stuf before, so please pardone my questions/ignorance.
thanks,
Jim

The hotside is 99% done now, just waiting on a stainless flex section to arrive tomorrow.
Some of Jons welds tonight. He was a little under the weather today but still managed to do a great job as always.
Mockup of the passenger side
Passenger side done
We left the passenger to driver side unwelded as this is where the flex will go tomorrow.
Heres how we left it for the night. It will go up in the air tomorrow to get the downpipe finished. I plan to run an aluminum exhaust after it exits over the front K-member

The thermostat housing will be modified with a new neck to run to the lower radiator hose. I used Jegs Pro-Flo hose. Heres the link: http://www.jegs.com/p/JEGS-Performan...61335/10002/-1
For the fittings I used Jegs AN fittings, heres the link: http://www.jegs.com/p/JEGS-Performan...57777/10002/-1
Its pretty simple really to install the AN fittings. Heres yet another link on how to do it, its easier than me trying to explain it to you lol. It is A LOT EASIER to assemble the fittings and line using the Pro-Flo line as opposed to the stainless braided line in my opinion....and the black looks better too I think:
Thank you sir
