Last I checked the "hot rod" oil pan kit is just the H3 pan, that I'm using w/o issue. If this kit is having issues, the H3 should be too. W/o taking my own time looking it up I would suggest looking for problems posted on H3 forums.

I daily drive my swap when the weather is nice and even though it's in a pickup I do take off ramps, high sustained g-loads, at a great deal of speed and never, yet, noticed the pressure gauge drop. Just my own anecdotal evidence.
