Appreciate it, but I've already bought everything. I've been second guessing myself about not going with the new holley setup.

Got a little bit more done this weekend. Most of it was little things underneath you can't see, but here it is.

Well, my buddy and I cut the front and back glass out to finish seam sealing the cowl area and paint the dash. They needed to come out for the cage install in the next couple weeks also. Got a few goodies this week also.

Moving along though and that's what counts! I spent a lot of time in the garage this weekend without a photo to share. Some of this work is just not interesting enough to photograph, but it all has to get done to make the car go. Glad to hear you're making progress. The engine looks bad *** in there - I really like the orange, aluminum, and black contrast - has a slightly retro look to it. What are your plans for wiring?

Thanks. I wanted the original colors to make people have to do a double take at it.

I have a aftermarket harness from PSI. I have to change the alternator plug and MAP(Speed Density).

Another angle. I can't help with the pics. It's been a while since it's had the sheetmetal on it.

Well, as good as the last pic looked, I messed up. I can't remember if I mocked the A/C compressor up before we pulled the engine to be built or what. The issue i'm dealing with now is, the blower belt was rubbing the waterpump pulley and cooling fan motor. I've since went from Dirty Dingo sliders to there Double D's and set the engine back to factory location. I swapped the water pump to a vette pump with the pulley pulled out(thanks to Bob@brutespeed and Chris of Aster bracket). We swapped locations with the compressor(from pass. bottom to top) and alternator(from pass. top to bottom). Bob@AEICNC.com fixed me up with the low alternator mount and brent@DirtyDingo supplied the compressor mount. It's not all finished yet, but we are moving forward with high hopes and it looks good so far. Having to cut and move the #1 cyl. header to tube now to clear the steering box before i'll know if the other 2 issues are good. I'll post pics as it goes back together.

I want to give another shout out to some guys that have been great help through this long journey. Bob@brutespeed, Brent@DirtyDingo, Bob@AEICNC, Todd@TRZ, and etc. Sorry if I forgot some of you. The other guys with nova builds have been a help also. We aren't going to make the LS Fest as we had hoped, but we aren't giving up either.

When we get it, maybe this thread will save someone some time with the LSX Transplant with A/C.

Thanks
Allen

But wait until the day she moves under her own power. It will all be worth it.

I totally agree Dave, I think we have these issues close to remedied.

Well, we got the engine set back with new dirty dingo double d adapters and moved the the passenger side acc. around, along with modified both headers and the radiator now fits. Looks like this is it.

Bad news, I just found out I've got a pretty big hernia and have to have it fixed asap. So we will see how long i'm down.

You can compare the pic above with the one here and see the difference.

Well, surgery went well and I've been able to get some things done with the help of some friends. It's sitting on all 4 again. We are fixing a small rust spot at the lower right corner of the rear window and the putting the DSE rear upper shock mount crossmember. In the pic below, the regulator is on the fenderwell, but I just got a fitting to mount on the end of the fuel rail, so that will be changed over the holiday. We are going to get the crossmember in and seats mounted so we can get the cage install.

We are going to do our best to have it ready for the cage by or before the first of the month. LOL I've had big expectations before, just to run into another issue.
