what accessory brackets did you use? I am in the process of doing the lsx swap in my 1977 Camaro. I looked at that alternator location you have... Will it clear the steering box? I plan on having ac and power steering and am wondering what accesories I may need.

I used the factory alt bracket for a 2000 fbody. I have plenty of clearance to my steering, but I am non power steering. My water pump, balancer, alt are all 2000 fbody.

70LS Camaro,
So I am sure it was posted all ready, but I cain't find it, so what swap plates are you using? brand and setback amount? I hope SW doesn't do anyvtubes looping over like alot of Gen1 Camaro s do. I love your thread. Alot of progress. Let us all know how you like the 6speed. Can you PM me the going rate for them? I've been pondering this alot lately.

thanks,
Jim

I am using Car Shop 1" setback mounts. After talking to them I dont believe they are gonna cross any tubes. Thanks for the compliments. I will let you know price when they release them.

Didn't realize how disorganized that back "storage" room looked until I saw giant pictures on the internet haha!

We are happy to have that Hugger car here! We rolled it across the parking lot and onto the lift this morning!

70LS CAmaro
I thought the plates looked familiar. I was hoping for the ball park price of a low milage T56. I guess I should of been more clear on my request. LOL>

thanks,
JIm

I paid $1700 for mine with 10,000 actual miles on it. You can pick them up for around $1200 with more miles on them.

Yesterday Jason sent me some pics of their progress. It looks like the headers are gonna be tucked up nicely....I had told him that is an issue with some headers. It still has my exhaust on it, so maybe the first of the week I can get more pics of them working on the exhaust.

Just to update, got the car back from stainless works and the system looks awesome. I also sent the rearend to Moser to get it completely gone through. I have installed my EFI tank, and corvette filter and ran my fuel lines. Here are a few pics.

Talked to Greer Performance in Ft Wayne Indiana today. I think I will be taking the car there to get the dyno tune done. It is only about a 45 Min drive from me.

I bought a small subtle emblem for the rear of the car
