The 1970 Camaro LS build begins
Here is a link to my project thread on Nastyz28 http://www.nastyz28.com/forum/showthread.php?t=208470 I have redone the car over the last coulpe years. I am now changing out the motor to a 6.0.
So far I have disassembled the 30,000 mile motor, Installed a set of NEW 243 heads with .650 dual valve springs, Painted the block, installed a fbody pan..pickup tube..windage tray..and dip stick. I have bought my MS4 cam, pushrods, LS6 intake, LS2 timing chain, LS6 ported oil pump, fbody harmonic balancer, ported and polished LS1 throttle body. I will post up progress as I go. Here are some pictures so far.

Very nice. Keep up with the pics.
What bellhousing did you source for the Muncie? A TKO with a new driveshaft chould be a simple upgrade if done right. I'd rather have a T56 but going that route could save you some $$

One question I have is, I took my factory harness in and had it modified (removed everything I wasn't gonna need), I see on other posts where guys are talking about fuse blocks, fuel relays, etc. What else am I gonna need besides the ECM and modified harness?? I know it is kind of a vague question, but help me out the best you can. Thanks

You could add onto your Camaro wiring harness for power to the LS circuits, but most find it much easier to have a separate fuse box and relays for the swap. You need relays for fuel pump, and fans (if you want them controlled by ECM). Power for Coils, O2s, ECM, OBD2 port, ect. Most use a small fuse panel, and there are several ways to do it. Look at a few threads and decide what is best for you. I use late 90s full size Chevy truck fuse boxes, because they fit for me.

Been awhile since I posted.....so here are some pics to catch you all up. Since the last post I decided to go ahead and do the 6 speed swap. I picked up a 2006 GTO 6 speed with only 10,000 miles on it. [IMG][/IMG]

Split bumper
If you would read his thread you would see that it did have split bumpers on it first and then he changed it. I think it looks great both ways, just whatever you prefer I guess. He's done some topnotch work to that car and I would be proud to own it. I only hope my 70 looks that good one day. Keep up the good work, you are gonna love the LS.
