Default 6.0/4L80E swap in 74' Bronco

I picked up a 74 Bronco and am wanting to do an LS swap. Has anybody done this swap before or a similar swap?

The longest version is up to 33" long. I have a C-6 in it now and that is longer than any of the 4l80's. What transfer case are you going with? I have a Ford np205 and was thinking of a 203/205 doubler setup. I have a Ford HP dana 60 up front and a 14 bolt in the rear that can be extended back if needed. I don't know if running the doubler setup would make the rear shaft too short or not.

I know there was a guy on here that had an LS setup in an early Bronco. I think he had an NV3500 or 4500 though. Anybody else done this swap or have any information on it? How the motor mounts up? I'm guessing I'll do a manual valvebody instead of electronic. How do the manual valvebodies work in the 4l80 as far as overdrive and lockup? I know in with the 4R70 in my Cobra that I had to buttons to push for them. Is the same concept used for the 4l80 as well?
