Well for anyone wondering about the U0107 code about losing communication with the tac module, it turns out that the power to the tac should have been to the start/run/crank instead of ign. I got that part rewired and then no more CEL or any other codes.

I ended up using the 01 style compressor and the 4.3 hose assembly. It worked like a charm! A few new things I have done include 1.5" spacers/adapters and 2012 camaro steel wheels and I had to take the 2" drop coils off the front and go stock to get a true 2" drop with the weight of the v8. Also thanks to a bad front u joint I replaced the transmission and added a corvette servo and wow what a difference!
