Since it's hot now, I've been having some cooling issues. Really wanted to run a Mark VIII fan, but in order to do so, I had to move radiator and intercooler forward as much as possible. Ton of work, but looks great, and have plenty of room for this new monster fan.

Also, now my radiator isn't right up against the turbo blanket.

Did a little of this:

Then a litte of this [with 5 people in the car] - Yes, I know the car is running very rich.

Then this was the result :/

228,000 miles on the stock dana30 rear end. For the price of new bearings, I can swap an 8.8 in it. So, I'm headed to the JY tomorrow to snag an exploder posi rear end with a slightly lower ring gear (3.55).

8.8 Swap in a little over a day...

Never realized how thin the 1031 was until I got it out.

Went straight to the shop from work last night:

First run ever at the track probably in the cars existence.

8.95 @ 86mph. 3-5 lbs of boost, shifting below 5k (top end of tune was lean at the time).

Car is now on 10 lbs, still a really conservative tune. Waiting for my new wheels to get here (being widened right now), then drag radials and back to the track.

Probably going to do a turbo cam soon.

Still waiting on my wheels. Sitting at Stockton getting widened. Cut a coil off the rear to even out the rake a little. I want to raise the boost to 12-15, but I'm not sure the trans internals are up to it.

Sold my '31, probably going to start a new project soon.

New wheels finally showed up. Custom 17x8 6" BS Steelies. LM Replica's were too flashy for my liking. And it was cheaper to have these built than replace my LM's in 114.3

Could have probably fit a 9" 6.5 BS". Oh well, 255 DR's will work.

Looks kinda funky because it hasn't settled and my driveway slants right at the front door.

Flipping my turbo 180 degrees, re working the downpipe, re wiring it, and ordering a set of 17x9 LM Replicas to match the front. Will run an ET street on the steelies for the track.

Love it. And I personally think the LM's are perfect on that car.

Yeah, I ordered another set of 17x9's for the rear. Should be here Monday.

Going to sell the Steelies or keep them for a drag setup.

17x9 +35mm on 255/40/17 NT05's

And day 2 I already regret buying another set of those cheap knockoffs.

So I ordered 17x8/17x9 Weld RTS'. Now I just have to wait a month for them to get here :/

My thoughts exactly. I just ordered the polished as I think it will look better against the dark color of the car. Don't think anyone has ever put them on a Volvo before.

Now I just have to wait almost a month for them to get here :/

Tore the rear end apart yesterday to get a working parking brake. I have to register it in Texas in a few months, and although I am going to register it antique, I still have to deal with the initial green sheet inspection.

Just waiting on some 8.8 clevis ends then I can adapt some Volvo parking brake cables I picked up at the PNP to it.

Rewired the car finally. Looks a lot better.

Converted to a flat glass rear hatch. Shaved squirter and wiper blade.

IPD 25mm Sway bars front/rear

Building a small 2-2.5" cowl hood for the car now.

Getting a new tune soon hopefully.
