Its gonna be wide! The body set bounderys for ground clearence. I wanted it to be lower. As it is, the suspension is lowered 1" compared to the stock C5. Thats the plan too. But the body..... I need 1" of clearence to the fender. Or maybe go for 17" wheels. This is a 18" wheel on the pic.
Then I could lower the body a bit more.
OR!... Cut the fender well and modify the fender radius. If so, I can lift the radius up an inch and lower the body.
But I think I can live with this

I wanted to have it down on wheels before chistmas. But I dont see how that can happen. Not in this turtle speed.
Im on the way to buy wheels. I found several dealers, and sent mail to try to talk and discuss, but no answer at all. Ebay dealers, its were these rims are the right price. Its hard to find good price as Im in sweden. I want these rims, deep dish style. 18" rear and 17" front

Hi
No its right perfect. The point is that the exaust system fits like original corvette and everything else that can be fitted under there. I will have more of a racing style drivers position, but this is ok if im gonna see out the window.
Im only 5´7" but my friend sat in there, he is 6´3"
So I think it will work.

Just an update.
This one is gonna be wide. I think I just hit the point that every one else started to think about narrowing the front...... But I wont. Mabe this is why I cant find ford 34`s with c5 setup?

Electrical issue
Anyone who know where I can find good material on info about wiring the LS1 up to the rest of the harness? Im gonna buy EZ wiring harness. I have VDO guages electronical and all the other stuff.
What should I start already to consider? All Im gonna get is the PCM that comes with the engine.
Im totallt green on this and really need to learn how to do it.

TECH Fanatic
I've seen a late '30s or '40s hot rod put on a c4 frame before. The guy cut the steel car down the center and widened the body to fit the track width of the c4 suspension.
