Default 1975 nova ls1 5.3

Any ideas on what kind of headers and exhaust I should use? I know everyone asks this but I've done a lot of searching and can't seem to find anyone with the same type of car. Thanks

Stock truck pan will hang too low... you'll destroy it.

I'm running a 5.3 in my 77 nova and use a CTS-V pan, Also used stainless 4th gen fbody ebay headers, bent them to fit my car better with a oxy torch. 1 3/4 primaries to 3" dual exhaust with moroso spiral flows dumped at the rear axle.

Just an FYI, all 2nd gen Camaros use almost the exact same subframe, only difference is where the bumper mounts, so you might try searching them. I have a 77 camaro subframe.. but I'm running ls1 manifolds. Also an f body pan, it doesn't hang below the crossmember at all.

How many of you had to cut and notch your subframe? Using the cts-V pan and carshop 1" setback plates, I didn't have to cut and weld ANYTHING, even reused my stock trans crossmember for the 4l80e. No clearance issues, fram or trans tunnel mods besides AN fitting access panels for my trans cooler.

header and oil pan clearance

I notched mine, but then there were only 3 options when I did it, F-body, truck, and the Vette batwing, so I figured it was the best bet to notch it, and I had to notch it for the A/C compressor anyway, so what's a little more.
