I've been busy today.
Plumbed and wired my fuel system

![](http://www.allenitllc.com/hotrods/chevelle/engine/ls1/regulator.jpg)
Drilled and tapped my water pump for the steam vent.
![](http://www.allenitllc.com/hotrods/chevelle/engine/ls1/steamvent-2.jpg)
Drill and tapped for oil pressure gauge.

Started working on my harness. I'm hoping to get the harness done during the week and fire the motor up on friday.

You're putting together a very nice build! If you want to ditch those manifolds and put some nice stainless steel headers, these Kooks headers were designed to fit the A Body.

Yes, they are pretty new. I don't know of anyone who has installed them on an early A body yet. Perhaps Kooks may know of someone. Thanks. Bob

I found an old Hurst T handle in my toolbox and thought it would be cool to have that old school look so I drilled the little 3/8's hole out and tapped the handle with the M16 x 1.5 threads to screw onto my stock camaro shifter.

I also picked up my shortened driveshaft today. The list is getting smaller and smaller! LOL

Did you make a wiring sheet? I'm installing one in my 1968 pontiac.

It came with motor and 4l60 hook ups, not many plugs left un-used, I have it mounted in the motor bay above the heater core. I'm thinking about changing it's location to the inside so it looks cleaner.
